"We have a CPA that comes in once a month to do the books, and he is not very knowledgeable when it comes to our Activant solution," explains Lipfert. "I have trouble helping him sometimes because I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to accounting. The net result of this is that over the past few visits he has made, we have had lots of problems."

It was during one of these visits that Lipfert decided to call Activant to request a phone consultation. "Within 10 minutes of my call, Activant faxed me a quote for the service and within 10 minutes of my faxing it back, a consultant called us to help out," recalls Lipfert.

"She did a monumental job," continues Lipfert. "Considering that our accountant was obviously frustrated, she did and excellent job listening to him vent a bit before explaining how to solve our problems. I was extremely impressed with her knowledge and her ability to understand what we were telling her, especially with me only speaking Activant language and our accountant speaking only accounting language. This was some of the best money we have ever invested in Activant."

Lipfert was so impressed that, should he need an accounting consultant again, he wouldn't hesitate to call Activant. "I can't imagine anyone doing a better job;" he concludes.
