New Release Adds Features and Enhances User Control

YARDLEY, PA, March 1, 2007 - Activant Solutions Inc.™ announced the availability of Activant Array version 12.0. Based on industry trends and customer requests, the newest version of the UNIX-based enterprise software solution features enhanced search capabilities, better access to substitutes in order entry, and more.

"The solution contains a large volume of new features and enhancements designed to help distributors reach the next level of success."

New Features in Array Version 12.0 Include:

• Assign Miscellaneous Charges to a Specific Release - Previously, when a miscellaneous charge (i.e., freight, handling, cutting charge, etc.) was added to an order, it was not assigned to a specific release of that order. This new feature allows a user to assign a specific miscellaneous charge to a specific release (up to 99 releases).
• Automatic Miscellaneous Charges - Enhanced functionality enables users to make miscellaneous charges required on an order, and/or automatically include them on an order (i.e., freight, fuel, etc.).
• Limit the Ability to Delete Lines on an Order - Sales order entry allows a user with permission to delete an entire order, but it does not prohibit the user from deleting one line at a time. This new feature will control a user's ability to delete individual line items on an order and/or invoice.
• Flag Backed-Out Invoices - The solution now flags backed-out invoices in the save invoice file, and clearly indicates when a backed-out invoice is viewed on screen.
• Ability to Copy Quote Details Into a Contract and Edit Fields - This feature allows the user to enter a quote via sales order entry and then import the final quote into a contract with fixed prices from the quote. In addition, users now have the ability to do mass maintenance on any field in the contract.
