Trading Partner Connect Version 10.0 Enhances Distributors' Productivity

YARDLEY, PA, December 20, 2004 - Prophet 21 announces the availability of Trading Partner Connect version 10.0.

The latest version of Trading Partner Connect includes Contact Relationship Management functionality enhancements. The EDI Mapping feature enables administrators to complete all of the tasks associated with EDI map creation, such as adding and removing segments and elements that do not exist in the schema, as well as controlling and maintaining conditionals and loops within the maps.

Trading Partner Connect version 10.0 makes it easier for distributor members to stay up-to-date with the latest items and prices in vendors' catalogs. The pricing service feature now automatically converts Trading Partner Connect manufacturer catalog files into a standard format in Trading Partner Connect B2B Marketplace. This revised, simplified format makes it easier to use pricing service files. "This feature alone will save us a lot of time and will increase our profitability because our pricing will be updated much quicker," said Savage.

"Manufacturers bombard us with updates every January, and we've spent weeks implementing them in the past," said Savage. "We'll cut that time by more than half with this new feature."
