Adapts to Your Unique Environment

With DynaChange Screen Designer, you can customize your interface while you work in Prophet 21 to keep your company's familiar lingo, instead of using your technology provider's imposed terminology. For example, Activant might name a field "Taker" in Order Entry, while you might want to retain your company's familiar "Inside Sales" customer service terminology for the same function.

You can rename, hide, or restrict tabs and move fields, as well as make fields invisible in any window without damaging the programming code or functionality of your enterprise software solution. You can alter the interface on a user-by-user, group of users, or organization-wide basis. For example, if you have a small group of users who speak a language other than English, you might change their interfaces so that all of the data entry fields they use appear in their language.

You can change field sizes, column headings, font sizes, and field and font colors, as well as field locations. DynaChange Screen Designer allows you to alter the appearance and content of Prophet 21's menus too. You may change the menu text to match changes that you make to the screens, restrict or remove options, and write the options in another language, should it be necessary. Your system administrator can assign multiple users the same set of altered screens, often defined by task, department, or security settings of the users to whom they are assigned (purchasing, accounting, etc.)

By removing options from menus, you can effectively deny employees access to fields, windows, or entire modules. For training and security purposes, you might allow a newly hired customer service representative into Order Entry to take orders, but restrict them from adjusting prices or profit percentages within the same module. With DynaChange Screen Designer, these changes can be made without muddling through complicated Security applications.
