Using this program, you can establish customized training programs for new employees and develop strategies for continuing the education of staff at every level.

Three Easy Steps

The first step in using the Custom Education Program is to define the roles and tasks specific employees perform in your company, and then further select topics and create questions specific to your business needs. Your responses generate diagnostic surveys customized for your employees. These surveys identify knowledge deficits, and can be used for benchmarking employee knowledge. A training agenda

Based on the results of your employees' surveys, you will receive a report prioritizing the areas where your company needs education. This report also includes a list of the Activant educational resources and services that would be most beneficial to your employees. In addition to using this document to help determine your current employee's educational needs, you can also use this as a roadmap for educational resources for training new employees. Many distributors even use the Custom Education Program to design certification or training incentive programs.

The Training Agenda feature allows you to specify a complete educational path for an employee - whether it's a two-day orientation or a 12-month program - and then monitors the progress so you and the employee can see if they're on track to complete the agenda. The Training Agenda outlines a variety of action items required in order to complete the educational program, including Computer- and Web-Based Training courses offered by Activant. As the employee navigates through this curriculum, you get automatic e-mail updates with the employee's status and scores for each test, so there's no need to follow up - the Custom Education Program handles this for you.
