Completely free of charge and open to any customer with an Internet connection, the Online Idea Exchange is a convenient way for customers to get together and confer about the ins and outs of their industries and solutions, without the drawbacks of major time commitments and costly travel expenses. This free, value-added service is one of the many benefits of maintaining a support contract with Activant.

In order to participate in an Online Idea Exchange, customers must first register for the event. After registering they will receive an e-mail invitation with a link to connect to a private site where the Online Idea Exchange will occur. Connecting to this site prior to the Online Idea Exchange, a new attendee will be prompted to download the free software that allows them to navigate the event. Once connected to the meeting, customers can communicate with their peers and Activant technology experts through a headset and a microphone, or by typing notes to other participants.

The Online Idea Exchanges take place on a rotating schedule that allows for a wide variety of coverage, including Activant products, services and solutions, as well as high-level, distribution-centric topics that will interest customers on every platform. A forum moderator will be on hand to see that the conversation stays focused and informative.
